We Need Volunteers for Pride 2013!
Volunteers are the backbone of the Utah Pride Festival. It will take over 1,000 volunteers to staff this year's festival. That will include over 100 volunteer leaders to complete our 2013 festival planning committee.
Festival Volunteer Opportunities
Individual Festival Volunteer Shifts
The Utah Pride Festival wouldn't happen if it weren't for its many volunteers. This application is for individuals who would like to sign up for one or more three hour shift(s) during the Festival.
To participate as a volunteer in the Utah Pride Festival, each individual must review and complete the following:
Festival Leadership Positions
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist in a number of leadership roles which are instrumental in coordinating all aspects of the Utah Pride Festival, including food, logistics, entertainment, and more. Applicants should have previous volunteer and management or logistical experience. Leadership positions require the attendance of monthly Wednesday evening meetings and full-time participation during the festival. This is a good way to make new friends and a great opportunity to get hands-on festival coordinating experience!
You must be over 21 to volunteer in a leadership position.
Community Partner Program Volunteers
The Utah Pride Festival has a Community Partner Program that allows members of community organizations/groups to apply to volunteer as a collective group. Selected organizations/group accept responsibility for staffing specific festival assignments and can earn funds based upon the number of volunteer hours completed by their members.
To participate, each Community Partner must review and submit the following:
- Festival Guidelines
- Community Partner Group Application (for Community Partner leaders to complete on behalf of their organizations)
- Community Partner Volunteer Orientation
